Conferences

The conference is available for teachers in courses and community participants. It supports video, sound and text-based chat. While there is a limit of four video windows for any given conference, up to 10 participants can attend.

The participants in the course or communities in which the conference is added are automatically added to the conference.

An important note about logging out from a conference: You have to turn off your camera before you leave the conference. If you fail to turn it off you are visible in the conference after you have left it. Teachers can use the Kick button to remove participants that have left without turning their cameras off. Also note that you lose the chat history when you exit the conference.
