	Click the Start button to start sharing your web camera in the conference. Note that when you have clicked this button everyone in the conference can see you. There are four windows available. Note that you must click Start in one of the windows in order for other participants to hear you.
	In this picture a participant has clicked the Start button and is sharing his video camera. The Video on and Audio on links are used to turn the sound on or off from a specific participant. Remember to turn the video off before you leave a conference.
	Allows you to select text colour.
	The Kick button is used to throw participants out of the conference. Select a conference participant, click the Kick button and the participant you kick is forced to leave the conference.
	When you whisper, or talk one-to-one with a participant, you can stop the whispering by clicking this button.
	Field for text chat. Enter text in the text field and click Send or hit the Enter key to send the text to the rest of the conference participants.

If you want to talk privately to a conference participant you may click his or her name in the participant list. When the name is highlighted everything you write in the chat field can only be seen by this participant. Note that this does not apply to video and sound, only text chat.

to end the private chat session and start talking to the rest of the conference. Text that is private between you and another chat participant is has "whispering to [...] in front of the text.

1. Enter a course or community.
2. Click Add in the navigation tree.
3. Click Conference in the work area.
4. Fill in the following fields:
   • Title: The title that appears in the navigation tree in courses.
   • Description: Use this field to describe the conference, write an agenda or similar. The description is shown when the participants open the conference.
   • Show conference in new window: Check this box if you want the participants to open the conference in a new window. This is smart if you want to work in itslearning while participating in the conference.
   • Conference type: Here you can select from:
     • Conference with video, sound and text-based chat - maximum 10 participants: This type must be used if you want to see video and hear sound. Note that the number of connections is limited. 10 is used as an example here, but this number may vary.
     • Text-based chat - maximum 50 participants: Text chat only. It is not possible to use sound or video.
   • Active: Set the activation status.
5. Click Save.

2. Click the conference you want to edit.
3. Click the settings cogwheel in the top right corner and select Edit from the drop-down.
4. Edit the conference. The fields are described in "Adding a conference" above.

3. Click the settings cogwheel in the top right corner and select Delete from the drop-down.
4. Confirm by clicking Delete again.

2. Click the conference you want to adjust permissions to.
3. Click the settings cogwheel in the top right corner and select Permissions from the drop-down (read more about permissions). Here you have three options:

1. Enter a course and click the conference you want to start.
2. Click Start conference or Start conference in a new window.
